I want the Mounted Police unit in the city of Boston saved.  This mounted unit has been a part of Boston for 150 years and it would be a shame if it ended like this. There must be a way that this special part of Boston's character can be saved.

Please consider these horses and men and women who ride them and care for them.  They are a special part of this beautiful city.

Hi Mike, Can City Council look into ways to collect ISD fines issued to property owners for failure to remove graffiti on their properties? Maybe 1 year liens can be imposed on properties to get them to pay. Then maybe after 1 year the council can review effectiveness. This is some extra money the City could use. Thanks!

I'm glad the City Council finally got around to posting PDFs of its orders, motions and resolutions online, but is there any good reason that the documents are available only as scanned images, which are not searchable, rather than in their original, searchable text format?

Mike, would you ever consider having a coffee hour at Pace's to meet our West End residents?  Thanks!  Regards, Kathy

I am writing to request that you advocate for increased funding for the Graffiti Busters so they can have another vehicle, which would enable them to get out and clean up vandalism sooner.

I do not think it is fair of the City Council to hold issues regarding term limits or anything else of vital importance to the city during work hours of 9 to 5. Most of the general public are working and are not going to take time off from work, to attend these meetings. The City Council should have these meetings starting anytime between 5:30 p.m. to 6:30p.m., so that the public may come directly from work or their homes. The city council is elected by the general public and these meetings should not be scheduled during office hours held by the city council.

I don\'t understand why it's so cost prohibitive for commercial establishments (restaurants, businesses, etc.) to recycle glass, plastic, paper and aluminum.  I\'m also baffled why there aren\'t recycling bins on the streets around town.  This would help with trash removal too, as the trash cans are too small and always seem to be overflowing.  I live in Boston and I think that the city does a GREAT job at recycling for its residents.

I am all too familiar with motorcycle noise and its impact on the community. In the summer months, motorcycles cruise Hanover Street with too great a regularity. These drivers rev their engines without a care as to the audible impact on thousands of residents within earshot. As such, please do your utmost to regulate this nuisance.
